How Did We Design Capture Thought?
A public-school Math teacher, who is probably on a low salary, approached us with a wonderful idea, but not a lot of start-up cash. The product he had in mind was to help students with their Math homework. He wanted us to design his idea, so it would be suitable for manufacturing.
However, before we could let him spend thousands of dollars in manufacturing costs on a brand-spanking-new product, that nobody even knows would flood the market with parents and students desperate to do well on their math tests, Designstein Studios did something different. We took the initiative to design his idea for 3D printing, so he could create units on demand by himself.
How Did This Help The Inventor?
Taking this direction saved him loads of money in development, tooling and production costs and reduced it to just thousands to develop and launch his invention. He didn’t have to run to the bank to beg for an exorbitant loan, nor did he get stuck with piled-up extras of his product in his garage waiting for buyers. The Principal of the school he teaches in got wind of his incredible invention and ordered over 60 units to test.
