PROJECT OVERVIEW
Our journey with Precision Pro Golf started in 2014, when both of our companies were just starting out. Precision Pro Golf had created an amazingly functioning product that was selling alright, but it was still housed in an obsolete Chinese shell. Their enclosures looked cheap, and lacked a design language that would attract appeal from the golfing masses. That’s when they approached us.
We worked with them to create design language that established their brand, and stood out clearly amongst the competition.
The example you see here is the third (and our favorite) golf laser rangerfinder that we developed for Precision Pro Golf. They came to us with fully-engineered internals, leaving us to develop the look and feel of the product design – one that needed to match the quality and precision of the internal lasers and lenses.
On our first project, we created an exterior product aesthetic that ensured other golfers could identify the brand from a distance, simply through the color palette on the rangefinder’s form factor. We held to their established brand identity by carrying forward the green nose and bright white body, hexagonal grip pattern, and angular parting lines that were approved in the previous designs we created for them, ensuring their latest, greatest rangefinder remains instantly recognizable as a Precision Pro Golf rangefinder.
